What is the I AM ME movement?

In a world where the different voices in society so often dictate who we should be, what we should look like and how we should act, it is easy to miss the most important voice, the voice of our own authentic self. This movement's purpose is simple:

To filter out the disconnect between what society tells us they need us to be, and to listen to who we want to be.
​
Remember - it's not just the voice of society. Sometimes the shift needs to be with our own voice. Let your voice be heard, but let that voice be kind and authentic. Let that voice be strong and bold let it be brave.

My story
Sometimes a simple question leads to a life changing purpose. So below is my question, and I hope this movement becomes the answer, or at least the guiding point, to other peoples' question.

"How do I use how I feel to make others that feel how I feel, to know that how they feel, is okay to feel?"
​
My heart breaks when I think about that girl, that girl that gave everything to look a certain way so that she could feel a certain way. My heart breaks when I see that girl that was so empty, searching for something to fill her, yet afraid of what it would be like to feel true fullness. Nothing was enough, yet everything was too much.
You fill a void, an emptiness, with something, but somehow that something seems to create an even bigger emptiness.

Until one day you stop. It doesn’t have to be a life shuddering moment, it can be simple, a moment you don’t even notice at first, but that moment is when you shift. You shift from that control, to surrender. And that surrender is what will finally lead you to leading the life and the fullness you have always desired.

to be brave
By being who I truly am and being brave enough to show that authenticity, I give permission to others to do the same. And through that, they will be empowered to give themselves permission. And that is how we pay it forward and make a movement.
