Warrior Mindset +
The power of the mind
What we feed our bodies often determines the outcome of our appearance. In the same context what we put into our minds determines the outcome of our day. It's just as important to be fuelling ourselves in a way that will allow us to feel inspired and wanting to get more out of life.

Live a little harder today. Love a little stronger. Look at things with childlike enthusiasm.
Do things you never thought you would do. Create things you never thought you were capable of making. Learn things you never knew existed. Make every single day matter.
Habits + Elements of being holistically healthy:

There are elements of your health and wellbeing which work holistically as one to keep your mind and body in a state of growth and underlying joy.
By working on YOU a little each day you will find that your life begins to change. I am not saying you will feel amazing all the time, no one will, but by making those little habits matter and consistent, you start to step forward instead of remaining stagnant.
You may not always feel on the top of the world, but you will feel comfortable in knowing that you are moving closer to where you want to be and who you want to be each day - the habits you create will be bringing you that much closer to those goals.

What is a habit?
A habit is a routine or behaviour that is repeated regularly and tends to occur subconsciously - this is key as it shows that what we do repeatedly becomes part of our subconscious.
Take little steps each day which will ultimately lead to a better life for YOU. Decide what you want. Write it down to make you accountable and go for it. Design your own life.

What builds the foundation of who we are? It all starts with who and what we surround ourselves with and what we chose to take in. This ultimately shapes a lot of our personality which is therefor our personal reality.

What elements should you consider to make yourself more holistically healthy?

-
Meditation - this is no longer something reserved for yogis and "tree huggers". Meditation is changing people's live. It's simply about slowing down your body and the world around you, silencing the internal and external voices and connecting with who you are and what you want.

-
Movement - The movement page of this site breaks it down further for you however remember to move a little each day. This could be as simple as stretching, walking, yoga or whatever it is that works for you, add it in and the benefits will flow. Take it outside wherever possible. Connecting with nature will nurture your mind and body more than you realise.
-
Sleep - I watched an incredible (& short) TED talk on this. [Matt Walker - Sleep is your Superpower.] Matt says "sleep is not an optional lifestyle luxury. It is a critical necessity and life's support system. It is not a bank, you can't accumulate debt and hope to pay it back." We function better with sleep, we are better to be around + we feel better. Make it a priority.

-
Quality relationship time - be conscious of who you chose to have around you and how much you put into them. Remember how mum used to say "quality over quantity"? Mum was right.

-
Self love (crucial not cliche - the more you fill your own cup up, the more you will have to flow over to others. It starts with your own cup being filled.

-
Self growth & progression - we always use time as an excuse. But if we make self development and progression whether it is personal or professional a priority, we will find that growth comes naturally in areas we never expected. Life happens outside of your comfort zone.

-
Affirmations - Something simple. Something sweet. Something so easy which we all fail to do. I challenge you to talk to yourself everyday, with kind words. And what's more - I want you to believe it. The world is full of negativity, so why not chose to hear kind words from the person you are with the most - yourself.
Opting in for Optimism
I recently wrote a piece on the difference between Optimism and Positivity. Through times of adversity we need to know that even though things do not feel positive right now, the outcome will be okay. I had four other optimistic and inspiring humans give me their tips on Optimism through this time of adversity.

Each video is short & sweet and hopefully inspires you to opt in for Optimism. See blog page for full details.
